Office stores such as the UPS Store, FedEx Office, Office Depot, Staples, and Kinkos) can scan your photo, you can give them the specs below to ensure a quality card.
When you send us a photo you understand that you are confirming to Memorial Cards Inc that you have the right to use the image(s) or artwork that you have submitted, and that doing so will not result in copyright infringement nor will it lead to or contribute to trademark infringement.
SCANNING TIPS
If the original is of poor quality or you are cropping a portion of a larger photo, please
zoom in to see if it is sufficient quality to use for your cards.
- Do not the crop the photo too tight, leave us some room to work with. If you are choosing a Layout B with Oval, crop to shoulder width and leave plenty of space above head.
- If you can, enlarge or reduce the scan area to 2” wide and scan at 300ppi. (Most phone, Facebook and Internet images are only 72dpi or less and insufficient for printing purposes).
- Scan and save the image as a jpeg. (Please do not name the file “image” or “photo” use a unique name so it isn’t the same name as another persons photo like “Mom” or “Dad”).
